Favorite products

Over the past few months, many of my beauty and bath products have changed quite a bit. I'm trying to switch everything over to more healthy, chemical free ones.. I'm definitely not all the way there, but I'm on my way! :)

I love my Dr. Bronner's Peppermint Soap! It's my favorite soap in my shower, and right now I have quite a few right now since I was trying a bunch out, seeing which was my favorite.. But this is the winner! I've seen a lavender scent also, but I haven't tried it yet. I prefer peppermint because it has a kind of cooling feeling. :)

My favorite toothpaste at the moment. Tom's of Maine Spearmint Toothpaste
I have been thinking about using a fluoride free toothpaste.. I'm kind of in the middle of this one. I'm sure I will eventually after everything I've been reading about fluoride lately, but I have also read stories about people switching to fluoride free toothpaste and getting a bunch of cavities. I'm not really up for getting cavities! We'll see. This toothpaste looks like a good alternative I might try..
Tom's of Maine Beauty Bar. This is my face wash right now.
I love the way it feels and smells. It came in a pack of two, perfect for my sink and shower. :)
It's pretty awesome!

My current deodorant- Secret Clinical Strength Ooh-La-La Lavender. I have tried sooo many deodorants, but they never work for me. I have tried a deodorant from Tom's of Maine, a crystal stick, probably every scent that Secret and Dove offers- none worked for me until this one! But unfortunately, this lovely little thing is half the size of a regular stick and twice the price. :/ I have actually been wanting to try to make my own deodorant for a while.. I have read that they work pretty well. Here's the super easy recipe that's supposed to be really great!

I hate to admit that I'm using shampoo and conditioner again.. I absolutely loved the 'No Poo' thing I had going!! Unfortunately, in order to get my hair clean, I had to use way more baking soda than the original recipe & my hair was starting to get really dry and wasn't soft at all. I was getting all kinds of complaints from family/Jorge about how gross it was and that it was stinky. I didn't think it was at all! If i had had any extra money, I would have gotten some essential oils to add to my mix and the problem would have been fixed I'm sure. But I didn't, and still don't have the extra money for that so I'm going to have to wait to go back to it. I definitely liked my hair better when I was using baking soda and acv though. No comparison. My hair with shampoo is too shiny, slippery and flat. I don't like it at all, but it'll have to do for now! So until I go back to my baking soda & acv combo, I'm using these:

Organix Coconut Milk Shampoo & Nature's Gate Tea Tree Shampoo
I have two here because when I was shopping, I found the coconut milk shampoo & put it in my cart in case I didn't find anything better, then I found the tea tree shampoo and put it in the cart but forgot to take out the other one! So I accidentally bought both.. Oops! Oh well, I like both of them so it's okay.. The tea tree one is probably my favorite though. :)

Renpure Organics Body & Shine Conditioner. Seems like good stuff.. I think I'm just not that into these that much because of my anti-shampoo-and-conditioner thing. It works & smells good I guess that's all that matters right?

Best concealer ever? I think so. Or at least it is until I find an all natural version of the same thing. My little tube of Maybelline Mineral Power Concealer is almost out since I use it so much, so I'll be looking for something new soon! Maybe this?

Revlon PhotoReady Powder is my favorite foundation so far. I don't really use much make up, so I guess I haven't tried all that many, but the ones that I put on here work well for me so I have stuck with them for a while. No need to switch it up if it was working right? I would like to find a chemical free brand of foundation though, like the concealer. The same brand I found for a (cheap) replacement concealer also makes a foundation! It's a little more expensive than I'd like, but I still have a lot left, I don't need to find anything new any time soon. I'll probably find something more in my price range when the time comes.

Skin Deep is a very useful site to help find new make up that is free of toxins and it can also tell you how good/bad the products are that you're already using or looking to use. I have found that they don't have some pretty common brands in their database, but they do have a wide selection, so it's easy to find new stuff!

I kinda ended my little Celadon Road adventure, so I won't be hosting any parties or getting any new Celadon Road products anymore.. I only had one party, but I did get quite a bit of stuff from my kit and from that first party.. But in my kit was this awesome Belly Butter! I love it. It doesn't have any fancy girly smell, but I still like the scent. It's thick and creamy and perfect for my super dry skin. The directions say it's meant for your belly, hips and thighs. I have also been using it on my belly lately hoping it'll help prevent any new stratch marks. :)

On the VERY rare occasion that I actually put on mascera, this is what I use. Loreal Telescopic. Again, I'd like to find something better but in this case unless it is almost identical, I don't think I'll find anything I like. I am super picky about my eyelashes ha.. I have really long ones and since I never do them, they're kind of a mess when I go to put make up on, and this seems to be the only wand that will tame them. I've tried some other brands recently because they were cheaper and of course they sucked! I'll look into some alternatives later though.

Maybe I'll do another post in a year or so and see how much these have changed, or haven't?
 Sounds fun, hopefully I'll remember!

A Sad Girl.

Wow. I just read this right now,

Even the letters in Gardasil give a sad warning:
A girl who gets G-A-R-D-A-S-I-L gets all mixed up
and becomes
A - S -A -D - G - I - R - L

The more I research about vaccines, specifically Gardasil, I get so sick and I'm heartbroken for the people who are getting hurt everyday from these vaccines. :/ I recieved all the vaccines I possibly could have until about a year ago.. I have no doubt now that they are what caused my asthma and allergies! I was listening to a talk show on Natural News yesterday & they were talking about how they believe those are caused my vaccines. Hmm I'm interested to see what my daughters lives will be like in the next couple years without having them, and mine after not getting any of this crap anymore either! :)

Why did it take me so long to come across this information?
I wish I would have listened to this stuff years ago.

Microchips.. Uh oh

This first video is about misrochips, the mark of the beast. It will soon be a requirement to have these implanted in your right hand or forehead, as my Nana has been telling me, my family and everyone she says more than two words to for the last 15 years! I always knew she knew what she was talking about, but I didn't think it would happen in my lifetime.. The second video shows that this will be in fact happening sooner than I had thought. The government is already planning on forcing students to carry RFID cards to schools. This is just the first step.. :(

WOW huh. Scary stuff.
I know I've been posting a lot of videos lately. They're just so good. There's a ton of good stuff on youtube, you just have to find it around all the teenagers recording themselves blabbing in their bedrooms.... :)

Some good sites that have more info on microchips and what they're really intended for, not to help 'track' your kids and 'keep you safe' like they tell you...
one, two,
three-no one will be allowed to get government assistance without these soon. :/ My Nana has even said there won't be debit cards anymore, it will all be on the chip, if you don't have one, you don't have any money or the ability to buy anything.

Revelation 13
16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Revelation 14
Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”

Eating, Third Edition

Okay, here is the documentary 'Eating, Third Edition'
It's been divided into 5 parts on youtube.
It's a really simple, awesome documentary about the benefits
of a plant based diet. Good stuff!!

Age of Deceit Video

This is the stuff my grandparents have been warning us about for yeaarrsss. The new world order. This is a really long video, and it skipped a lot until I realized I could go straight to the video on youtube and change the resolution to 380p on the bottom right corner. Please watch when you have the time! This could really open your eyes.

Teething baby girl..

My poor baby girl is working so hard right now to get some top teeth! She will be one in four days and still only has her two bottom teeth, so these are right on schedule. They're definitely not coming in as easily as her bottom ones did though. With those, she just woke up at night crying a little and it was in the next morning.. This time, she's had a fever pretty much nonstop for 3 days. :( I've been treating it with Tylenol and Hylands's teething tablets, but the fever doesn't typically go right away, and of course it always comes creeping back. :/
I was trying to wait it out, let her teeth come in and fever go away on it's own, but this morning she had diarrhea also. So of course being the worried mom that I am, I called the pediatrician (bad move) just to get some advice and they wanted me to bring her in, ugh. We went to our appt at three, saw the doctor, got some interesting advice- juice probably caused the diarrhea and I should give her pedialyte. Hmmm, we'll see. For now I'll just keep her on the same routine we've been doing I think. She didn't have diarrhea after that one time this morning, but if it happens again I guess we'll give it a try.

Taking a cool bath as soon as soon as she woke up, after having a fever all night & a few hours before we went to bed. I didn't take her temp but I'm sure it was around 102-103! She was sooo hot.

Night time, we were worn out. We didn't even go anywhere ha, just tired from taking care of this teething baby!
The next day, breakfast- leftovers mixed with egg and veggies :) Dad's a good cook. She still had a fever but was getting used to it I think.
Putting her down for a nap before her dr's appt. :)
Oh hey, I'm 18 weeks pregnant!

She Reads Truth

So I'm starting a new journey today called the Soul Detox by YouVersion. It's a 5 week, daily bible lesson that I'm doing with my iphone and a journal, but you can also do it online. :) I am sooooo incredibly excited about this! I have been wanting to go back to church, but can't seem to get my butt there! I've even tried downloading the bible app on my phone & tried to get myself to read it, but I realized today that without this, or any plan, it was never going to happen. I think part of what makes this so great is that there are so many people doing the same thing and the creators of shereadstruth.com have done such an amazing job of keeping everyone connected. They are on instagram, twitter, there's a private group on facebook, and even a page on their site that has picture links to so many people's personal blogs!

So here I go, I already finished day one of 35 and even though I couldn't get myself to open the Bible app yesterday, I can hardly wait a few more hours to do tomorrow's lesson! That's pretty awesome is you ask me. I am so glad I found this today! Just going though my feed on Instagram as usual and I saw someone's journal for today and the #shereadstruth tag, and I had to check it out! & it went from there.. YAY!

water

I have known for a little while that bottled water was not the best for us. Not just because of the processing and everything they do, but because of the plastic and the BPA. I watched this video earlier and have decided I'm going to start collecting some glass bottles. The company I've been selling products for, Celadon Road, used to sell some awesome ones, but when I just looked at their product list, it looks like they've been removed. Hopefully they'll add them again!! I'll look for some like the ones they had..... Okay! I found some on Lifefactory.com for adults, kids and even babies!! These are AWESOME! I will be getting some when I have money. Wow. & I really need to start replacing my tupperware with glass asap. :) :) :)

 Adult-

 Toddler/kid-

 Baby-

& the best part is, they're all free of BPA, phthalates, PVC, polycarbonate, lead and latex. :D
Ahhh yes I finally have something to ask for at the baby shower!

Also, Tapped on Netflix- SUPER GOOD. It was on my list a little while ago & I finally got to watching it. Wow. I'm glad I bought my Brita pitcher a while back and have pretty much stopped most water bottle buying. I only buy them when I go out, or when I will have people over.
Anyway, can't wait til I have some extra cash & can get these babies. Or maybe I'll get lucky & find them cheap somewhere.... :) Never know!
