August 29

So not too much new and exciting over here..
30 weeks now, still working and just waiting to see my little girl!
I'm pretty happy right now. Jorge and I have been doing really well lately, no fighting or even bickering much. :) We have been talking about getting married in the (not too) near future and about possible moving up north. Maybe Oregon? Who knows..
We have also been watching some of the dvd's that my Nana sent me a month or so ago called "Know Your Enemy".  (Watch the videos on their youtube!) He's really into it! I'm really glad because even though I like it and am learning a lot also, I have heard much of the basic stuff from my grandparents over the years so it's not too new to me. And it's all stuff that I already believe.. unlike Jorge who is Catholic. The best part about this is that he is really paying attention to it and when we got to the parts about Catholicism, he not only listened, but had questions for me afterward. :) I am really happy he is understanding everything we've been watching and I definitely think it's going to help bring us closer if we believe in the same thing. Him having "his religion" as he has always called it has definitely put a huge barrier between us and it scared me because I knew it would definitely affect the way we want to raise our kids.
Anyway, I'm just happy and I hope he continues to pay attention to our videos and ask questions.

Hey Beverly!
We can't wait to see you in almost two months! :)
I am getting sooo excited. I can't wait to have a newborn again.
Ahh!
At the dr for my regular NST's. I'm going in twice a week now for monitoring and an ultrasound. ♥

Hahaha, checking myself out from the back...

Casey teaching Betsey how to swim at Wendy's house!

Yeah, so maybe I was a little jealous that she would drink from the straw when her dad held the cup..... I was still proud though!

Crocheting balls! This is the beginning of my (hopefully) new hobby (if I don't find something else to obsess with before I get better at it)-  making arigurumi animal dolls.
These have been the most inspiring and are what I hope to make mine look similar to someday! They are so cute!

What years of collecting yarn and not finishing projects looks like. I bought like 8 or 9 of these today, so I haven't had quite this much just lying around for years, don't worry!

That's much better. Yes, I got all but 2 big skeins fit in there! :)

And the most adorable little girl ever! I have to say that as much as I can in the next two months, before I have the two most adorable little girls ever! ;)

29 weeks!

Hello. :)
Thought it was a good time to update again..
I'm 29 weeks pregnant now, looking and feeling great other than some back pain here and there. I honestly can't believe we are going to have another baby in 11 weeks. What a scary thought.. I haven't even started to prepare. Luckily I already have pretty much everything we will need for Beverly, other than some newborn diapers and maybe some extra pants. Since Betsey was born in June she basically lived in onesies and blankets for the first few months. I have gotten a set of adorable long sleeved onesies for Beverly at TJ Maxx recently though.. :) They're the only thing she has so far that weren't Betsey's. I can't wait to see her in them.
Betsey's 14 months old now. Walking, talking, getting into things, same as before ha....
She can now say: hi, bye, mama, daddy, doggy, boob or boooo, & "awyah" what she puts a phone to her head and copy lots of words and noises. Jorge likes to make her say "aye aye ayyeee!"
She loves to wave and close the door behind people. Drawers cannot be seen by her without being opened and emptied, then occasionally she likes to close a finger or whole arm inside while trying to close it. Sigh.. Temper tantrums are also beginning. She loves to drop to the floor crying, but soon after realizing that it's not going to help her get what she wants, she stops and goes on her way, or gets up to bite me. :/ Which hurts because she now has eight teeth. Two on the bottom and six on top! The last two just came in last week. She was a trooper, I didn't even know they had come in until at least a few days later. :)
I finally got my settlement money a week or so ago. Yes, I have been spending, spending, spending... But (mostly) on bills and other things I needed. I finally got my car back today after it being worked on for the last 4 days, and it felt great! But I did get my new desk and imac recently! I am still debating the ipad.. Jorge is laying on the couch next to me using the macbook.. He has been on it nonstop since I got my new computer. If I got the ipad, I would definitely sell the laptop. I don't know, it's still up in the air. I also got Jorge and I some new glasses! That was definitely more pricey than I had expected.. I probably should have gone to Coscto instead of Lenscrafters, but whatever we both got nice glasses and Jorge can finally see! I still have a few big things I need to get, like my auto insurance that's due in a few weeks, and of course saving as much as I can for rent every month. But other than that, I would say I have been good about not spending all my money right away this time, and I'm going to try to make it last as long as possible!

 a week or so ago..

so many teeth!

poking herself with a flower.. :)

hahaha.. learning new expressions from mommy

getting spoiled by daddy!

Jailbroken!

So yesterday I came across a picture of an iphone on pinterest that had a really cool looking lock screen. I had no idea that I could customize the lock screen before, so I looked into it! I soon found out it was only available for the iPhone 4s or jailbroken iphones.. At first I was a little discouraged because I have tried jailbreaking before and it just didn't work for me, there was way too much to figure out! So I went on youtube and watched a tonnn of videos of how to jailbreak, then what I can do with my iphone afterward! (His were my favorite) Then once I thought I knew what I was doing, I jailbroke my iphone!

Here's what my littly beauty looks like now! I love it, but it may not look like this for long.. I keep downloading new 'tweaks' & changing it up almost every hour.. It's been really fun!

Lockscreen & simplified status bar.

First page.

Second page.

Still second page, swiped the weather widget. :) YES, it's freakin hot today!

Next three are all the third page...

Swiping through my Ncsettings widget...

I also have a Google Search widget up on top!

Music widget on the last page just for fun.

One of my newest tweaks: Maximization. I love the idea of using the whole screen, and I will definitely be keeping it for some apps like safari.. but I realized after playing with it that I use the status bar a lot for jumping back up to the top of the page. Especially in instagram!

Banner Disable stays on while Betsey watches The Wiggles on Youtube.

Using Multistorey to see more of my open apps.

Some of Betsey's apps..

Swiping.. Infinifolders allows me to put as many apps as I want in a folder. :)

My tweaks & apps so far:
Springtomize 2
Ncsettings
Multistorey
Maximization
Gridlock
Infinifolders
Timespeak
Yak
Pandora Downloader
Banner Disable

Someone please explain to me why I didn't do this before?  I LOVE it!

:)

Well our lives haven't been too exciting lately..
I have been getting a little more work that usual, which is really nice! My mom is able to watch Betsey as she is still searching for a new job, so I'm taking advantage of her spare time and scheduling as much as possible.
Betsey is growing and growing and growing! She's repeating new words, finding new favorite toys (right now she loves books and carrying her purse on her arm <3) and I think it's now official that she will never crawl again..
I think the only real excitement right now is my extra short countdown until I get my $$.. 13 more days! I have a rather large list that I've been working on of things I need and things I don't. I'll explain more at the bottom!

Babies!

Badass.

SMACK!

iPhone's take pretty awesome pictures.

Uhhhhhhh

Wook at my teef  :)

Biiiiiiig Smile!

Growing up too fast!

Rolie Polie Olie

Ahhhhhh it's going to be nice to finally see some real money in my account! Hopefully it lasts this time. This is my last check, so I'll have to make it last!
Bills & car stuff definitely will come first even though they're not first on the list. I just haven't been updating them like I have with the 'general' part of the list.. haha can you tell I am a list person?

So I am having a slight battle with myself right now about the ipad 2.. At first I was super excited about it! I was way excited about all the apps for the babies and I to both use, watching movies and of course the portability! But I have been realizing over the last week that my macbook is starting to have the same airport issues it lad before again..... AND it gets pretty hot on the bottom when I use it. I don't remember it always being this way. I think it's time to replace it. I have had it a good 3 years, not that long for a computer, but with all the upgrades in macs I think it'll be nice to get a new computer finally! I thought about getting another laptop, but I have decided it's time for a desktop. The refurbished 21.5 in imac's go for $1076 on apple.com! Not too bad for a mac! :) BUT, my heart it still set on having an ipad!! :( I thought a little about just getting an ipad, but this isn't possible. It might work if ipad's had been made with a usb drive by now, but they haven't...... ugh.
So here I am...  stuck in a war  of apple products. I will have the money for both, but I know it would be smarter to save it.. We'll see. If I can find an amazing deal, I might just have to get both! :)
Also I forgot to mention I'd obviously be selling my macbook, so there's $300-$400 I can take from the price of one of these! Hmmm...

Grace Smart Seat- gonna be the new seat!

Oh Matt Bomer, why must you love men?

23 weeks pregnant

  23 weeks!!
I'm feeling so good right now, physically.
I truly love being pregnant. It's the only time I really feel beautiful walking around in just a dress.
I help a newborn the other day though.. I'm starting to get a little antsy waiting for Beverly to get here!
I am trying to enjoy every second of Betsey's only-childhood while I can until then.
She's such a one year old, she loves to walk around and get into everything, yet she wants to be cuddled nonstop THE second she decides it's time to cuddle. I love it, it's not going to last forever.
♥

 She is so beautiful.

Swimming with Grandma. My phone really sucks at zooming, I'll have to remember to bring the camera next time!

Simplicity at it's finest. I must never buy this child a toy again. I am planning on buying us an ipad, but that is kind of a family toy.. kid's toys are such a waste of space and money I've come to realize.

The family.

After spending all day on pinterest drooling over gorgeous homes, I was finally motivated to clean and rearrange my apartment!

 My kid being cute.

I must get back to doing #shereadstruth everyday. I'm soooo behind :(
I need it. I think I'll take my dog on a walk and sit down with my bible.

Cancer.

Wow. I've been listening to the Free Healing Summit this weekend on Natural News, and I'm freakin amazed at how many of these speakers are telling their stories of how they're helped heal cancer naturally! It's almost unbelievable how easy it sounds. I don't know too many people that have died from cancer, just my Grandpa's wife (not related to me) and her daughter. Even if I had known, I doubt they would have tried these methods, but it would have at least been nice to have known about them and maybe try to help by telling them. I want to write more about this later.. Have a bigger post like my Gardasil one, that has lots of links so that I can refer people to it. Even though it doesn't seem to be doing any good when I do.. :/ At least I feel like I'm doing what's right when I tell them and show them the information, even if they don't want to listen.. right?
